ok this doesnt make sense to me, what makes your explorer different from any other? do u have anything done to it so its nice and loud or is it stock, if its stock then that is crap and if it is made louder by you custom, then sweet!

i just drove through town...had over drive tunred off because i was going under 60...all i did was accelerate quickly to get in with the speed of the traffic and it was "TOO LOUD"...i have true dual exhaust on my 5.0 plus i have 2 10" solos pushing about 450 watts each...so yeah i guess that is pretty loud

Why not get 2 pieces of pipe, some chain, and a good friend that has something to pull you. When you hit the city limits, hook everything up and have them pull you around town for a while making sure he sees you. Then go back to the city limits sign, unhook, and smile...

Giving him a reason to impund your truck by driving through it won't help you any - but obeying what he says - in a certain way - can really piss him off....

hate to tell you this but towns and counties can pass laws limiting what they consider an audible nuisance. ive heard of it in NC and here in FL. basically old people that run the town can make up the rules when it comes to stuff like that. most of the time it is community service as penilty or like in your instance a ban from the streets. from my understanding they can not charge with a felonany or anythign stupid but they can give you a misdeameanor citation. this sort of thing is really popular in small rural towns and suburban neighborhoods.

of course they might have profiling and saw an ex with loud pipes and booming system and assumed that you were some how associated with this online motley bunch of delinquints. hate to soudn liek aprude but sounds like you just need to calm it down and be a little less obvious...

after rereading this i picked up that you live in a town of 900, i do too. sounds like a one gun town, but looking at it from the cops perspective he would rather keep the 750 middle aged and old people happy than a young minority. i know its american and freedom and yada yada but if sitting my place and i hear someone blasting their musit he point that i can hear it inside my house i get pissed and ***** about young punks like you...
