over the weekend it has been raining. I was driving and while braking i heard a liquid moving, thought it was just the gas tank. When i opened the passenger door, watering came pouring out. It is just on the passenger side. I noticed that the channel where the wiring harness runs was completely flooded and had soaked the carpets. I removed the seats and removed just about all of the water. Where can water get it on the passenger side???

Get it and have someone run a hose all over. might find it or hear it?

do you have a sunroof?
Is your floor rusted out?
Is the dogleg/rocker rusted out?
Common leaks in an Explorer are:

windshield seal
missing computer wiring grommet
and the stuff mentioned above

Wow, are you sure you did not cross any 3' streams on your way?

Check that your weather stripping is in place. There is weather stripping on both the body and the door.

the passenger side is the only side leaking. It does not go up any farther than that. It starts in the front and ends right before the 3rd row. All the door stripping is in place and in excellent condition. There has to be some seal that is missing. I just dont know which one?

Have you been using the A/C? I seem to remember something about the A/C drip tube getting clogged and the water somehow going into the vehicle instead. Search on that, I know it's been talked about.

Oh yes! good idea.

There may be an overflow drain in the passenger's foot well.

Check in under the dash above the passenger side feet area.

It would explain it if this was the case.

The rear hatch - check both as water runs down through there. Is there an area more saturated than another (front v.center or rear?)
