Explorer light shakes at low speeds after CV Axle replacement

Hi there.

Recently had both lower control arms replaced to help fix an issue with steering jerking at high speeds. After replacing both control arms, the steering issue was fixed. I also had to get my right CV axle replaced as well. After the repair, the car now has a light shake that I can feel in the seat and the pedal when accelerating at low speeds till around 25mph. I was thinking maybe its an alignment thing, but the guys at the shop told me the alignment is still good even after replacing the right CV axle which I thought was a little strange.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas to what this may be, as I said, the issue didn't start until AFTER the right CV Axle replacement. Should I start out with getting the vehicle realigned? Or any other tips?

Why not try asking who fixed it. Start there

I agree. Take it back and have them check it out since the issue only started after the work was done. If they said the alignment was good, ask them for the printout. This is where to start before tackling anything else.
