I look forward to seeing replies to this because I was thinkin bout that earlier when i took mine for a spin, that if i dont sell in a month thinkin of maybe doin that. are you using the 5.0 out of a second gen. explorer or using the basic 302 like people have done with rangers?

search please the V8 conversion has been beat to death over and over and over

Jesus man, come on and use the search button. This question has been asked at least once a week for the past 5 years, there is allot of information on this. If you did much of a search you would have turned up a decent amount of information. Invest a few hours, do a real search and stop being lazy.

Hey 410 was not discouraging you, he has a very good write up on doing a 302 swap that is OBD2, there are others who have done similar swaps with non OBD2, there is a lot of that information to be found. After you have read the threads detailing what was done, if you find there is a point you need clarified, i am sure there are many here who would be glad to be of assistance. Good luck in your search. If you stay with an earlier (before 96) version it really should be quite straight forward.
