I'll figure something out. I'm trying to do this on a budget, using what i have already, so the rear end may have to wait a while.

I can completely understand that. It drives me crazy when I come up with some ideas on how to do something with materials I already have and the usual crowd chimes in with "just go buy this _____ for $100 and use it" If I had $100 to go blow and buy ____, I wouldn't be asking how to do it another way, now would I?

people aren't inventive anymore. Those that are get rich......

Ok, I think I have a basic idea of how this is gonna work. The motor is going to sit in it's own basket, And the front of the truck will be caged and trussed to keep the frame straight.

Uuuuh, OK, but what's going to hold the front end off the ground? There's no amount of cranking the t-bars that's going to offset the extra 1000 lbs of weight in the drivetrain. It'll chew through bearings/hubs at an alarming rate with that kind of weight on it... Keeping the frame straight is the least of your worries...

Oh there's no way i was going to use ttb or torsion bars. It's gonna be a sprung straight axle. big springs, and big shocks.

oh it's gonna happen. Just gotta get the other messes cleaned up around here first.

It's not that...

People judge you by what's listed w/your signature and your avatar. To me, your signature looks like you have mucho dinero. And the mods too... hmm. Ya got cash man! (as the butler holds the camera in your avatar :D

If you play your cards right, You can appear to have big cash, on an average man's budget.

Start by taking care of things so they last longer, using things you have lying around instead of buying new, and being patient and hunting for the best deal on the things you want.

Would it be okay if I use that for my signature? I will quote you...

go right ahead.
