2002 ford explorer
Hi my name is Felicia and I have a 2002 ford explore and I was driving down the road & my car just died on me so I put it in park & tried 2 restart it just 2 find out that me car had lost all power. I could not even put in neutral 2 push it out of the middle of the street. Please tell me what I can do 2 fix it.

NMI to trouble shoot that problem!
 






See if it will start with a jump start.
If it does,

First check the alternator fuse. It should be identified in the owners manual.

If this checks ok, the alternator should be checked next. Sounds like the alternator failed causing the battery to drain.
 






Make sure battery ground is attached to the battery and frame tightly. Do the overhead lights come on when you open the door?
