Explorer/ranger rims

I am going to buy another set of rims for my explorer so i can mount winters on them. I found some 16 inch rims off 98 explorer that have all season tires. And i also found some 2009 ranger fx4 4x4 16 inch rims without tires.

I would prefer to get the 09 rims since they are nice and move my all seasons to them. Just wondering if the backspace and offset will be that same on those?

Tried searching but couldn't really find any info on 09 rims.

they fit on, lug pattern is the same,
backspacing, hmm maybe,, will the guy let you try one on the Ex, ?
that may be the best way to find out,,
