Try to hook the pump right to the battery, see if it pumps like normal. (That would mean you have a short or something of some kind somewhere)

new fuel pump fixed it. i just had to pump the gas peddle twice and it started right up. the alternator started making a little bit of a squealing noise tho. it disappeared above 1000 rpm and then came back when it idled again. and the exhaust didn't smell very good at first. most likely because a whole can of ether was the last thing it ran on

i drove her around the block and put 20 bucks in and drove by the park to honk at the geese. man im so glad to be driving again. the alternator didn't make any noise while driving. hopefully it just needed to warm up or loosen up or something.

we're guna secure the fuel tank better asap. then do the oil, plugs, rad flush, alternator, bushings, suspension, and brakes little by little once i have a job. i really wanna do the bushings tho cuz that clunk when i brake sounds bad and i dont want it to get worse

you got on fuel rail a test port call fuel pressure relief valve black cap look like a tire valve turn key on and prees on inside just like you're taking air out of a tire
gas sould shoot out if no or verry litle pressure then take tank down
if lot of pressure may b injector not working block or no power
check you/re fuel sending unit there good for corosion and check for power

g going

how bad is it if the return line doesn't "lock" onto the fuel pump? i can pull it back off without using a remover tool but its on far enough to where it's almost touching the elbow. and i can tell the the groove on the hose is overlapping the groove on the pipe. so maybe the teeth are bad on the hose? can i drive my car until this weekend?

you're spring o ring is bad
try to use tie wrarp to hold it if it come out fire hazard think you can get just the ring at dealer
is there also a clip-on on it mine as one
