explorer soundproofing

i have a little experience with soundproofing but have any of you found good ways to reduce the sound inside the car and the rattles outside. oh and ill cover myself dont be smart and say turn down the radio for reducing the sound inside the car. could someone tell me where they have had the best results in application sites and how they did it . thanks,

Dynamat and rubberized undercoating seem to work the best. there are cheaper "generic" versions of dynamat out there.
