I just installed a trans temp sender in my aux tranny filter that is mounted behind the bumper. The problem is, the wire for the gauge just wraps around the sender and bolts down. This area does get wet when it rains, and I'm worried about the wire on the sender. I'm wondering what you guys did to protect this wire somehow?

Oh ok, I guess I'll just leave it then, if it's not a problem. I was worried about a short or something.

Its actually a ground wire, so you don't need to worry about anthing melting down. If something does happen to the wire te guage will either peg or quit.

Oh ok that makes sense.
