dirty dirty dirty! :)

hmm, if you want the lights to come on Auto/OFF/Forced ON you might need to use a DPST-Center off I the lights in my truck wired that way, driving, off road and backups are all wired auto/off/forced on, for example driveing lights on auto, turn on my parking lights and the drivers will come on, or I can switch them to forced on so I can forget them and kill my battery :D
another simple trick is to wire relays in to the mess so you dont need to worry about cooking the switch, all my switches are small and wired with 20-24 gauge stranded, which inturn throw the relays, this will keep the higher amp draw away from the switch, and help get more power right to the lights where you want it

give me a few days and I might put a write up with pics over in the projects section and some pics of my light control box :)

WOW that was some good info!!!! thankyou. where t do you guys have he switched places?i'm thinking of in the console but how am i going to get in there to wire it or do i have to take the console apart?

you have a 95. If you have the console with the two slots right in front of the cupholders it pulls right out and makes a great place to mount switches.

yes i have the slots. how do i get the wire to the switches?

run it under the dash. You can pull hot off a lot of things around there provided you use a relay for the power to the lights. after the dash you decide where to take it: through the floor, under the carpet, along the side behind panels... the choices are endless.

umm, if you want them to come on auto, you are going to need to wire up the switch diffrent, I'll have to draw something out, or find a switch and take a pic, no way i can type out and explain how to do it =/

not real detailed about the workings of a relay, but you can find that in my sig under exterior mods: switch mod..
here is how I did the reverse lights:
