Hi

Some background information

I have 10" sub in the back right hand side storage compartment, Amp under the right backseat.

Solar panel on the roof to provide 15.4v @ 200mA charging/maintenance

4Awg wire to under the backseat to the AMP.

Looking for a good spot to mount the 2nd battery. Inside cab or outside. I have no issues using gel/AGM batteries.Any helpful hints or where you have mounted a 2nd one.

Out of curiousity.. are you sure you need a second battery? There are some pretty hefty single case battery's out now. Me personally have had one mounted right on top of my rear drivers side interior panel. The plastic wheel well thingy, it fit right between my sub box and the panel.

I'm sure you could fit one where the pocket/factory sub goes in the pass side rear as well.

I am actually in the process of (test fit already) installing a ~13"L x ~9.5H x ~6.5W Yellow Top (1125CA) Battery in the Pocket/Sub area of my 1st Gen. It's a PERFECT fit.

just wondering: what will this battery supply power to? im sure the X's electrical system can handle a 10 inch sub with 4 guage wire on it.
