Not mine. A 98 we have at the office for our salesman. A couple weeks ago we had to have it towed in to a shop because it would not start. it would crank but not start. The shop could not find it. They said it had to be a short but searched all over, and then it started fine.

Now this week it has developed a problem were the factory alarm will randomly go off. Usually at night, I thought he was crazy till it did it yesterday afternoon twice at the office. My feeling is these two problems are related. It is going back next week, but untill then we need to deal with it and if there is anything I can do before then great.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Sounds like the factory security system might be going out. See if the manual has a way to disable it.

It sounds like that. I would dissable it if it were mine. But if I do it he likely won't figure out how to get to work in the morning. Not that that would bother me. But he has trouble unlocking things with keys(among other issues), it's really quite ammusing.;)
