Works on my 98 XLT single cd in dash radio. And holding 3 and 5 at the same time turns off rear radio controls.

Works on my 97 Mountaineer with JBL. The display shows "SPKR" then "RF", "LF", etc as the sound is sent to the corresponding speaker and sub. Also works on my 05 Mountaineer with standard radio.

I just did it on my 2002 Explorer Limited and it worked. I don't know if it's the Audiophile system, but it has a stock subwoofer in the back. It even sounds a little better too! (I think)
