Factory Tow Package Problem

I have a 92 xlt w/tow package. I have the tranny cooler, wiring harness and no hide a hitch, just the bumper mount. I have been towing wiht no problem at all. My question is I have a 3.27 rear end and from what I am reading this is not possible but I have it, unless the factory tow package was put on later in time after the truck had the info sticker put on. Could it be that someone put a new rear end with everything else as well? Where is the tag on the rear end?

tag will be on the bolt... of the pumpkin on the rear end... if you have town package... you should have a 3:73 limited slip rear end.... if somewhere on the tag read 3 L 73 you have 3:73.... which would i would say yes you have the towning package

I just checked the pumpin and it said 3.27. So I guess everything else was added on afterwards. Not a big deal just wanted to know. Hey cant complain that the previous owner spent the money on harness and tranny cooler, now can I.
