finally a decent snowstorm !

here in the big O weve been suffering with 2 in snowfalls every other day till today ...now were getting 8 to 10 ins with high winds ..YIPPEE ! ...get to really try out my new uniroyal liberaters ...and its real shame im off work this week he he he ...just heard I-80 is closed from omaha to des moines ...watch out chicago here it comes .

the weather service here in omaha is saying that northern illinois and southern wisconsin are going to get blasted ...those side roads in the north burbs should provide some good entertainment .

A winter storm is expected to drop snow today on eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

Mike Sager, a meteorologist with AccuWeather, The World-Herald's weather consultant, said the Omaha area could see 1 to 3 inches of snow.

But the National Weather Service predicted a total accumulation of 4 to 6 inches.

There's only...maybe...3 inches on the ground now. Where did you hear 8-10?
