Firing Order for 1999 Explorer

:exp:I recently replace my spark plugs and wires..Now there seems to be a problem.. Sound like it's missing badly I think I have the wires switched around. Could someone please give me the firing order or any advice? Thank You!!! 1999 Ford Explorer

It depends if you have a V6 or V8
V6 1-4-2-5-3-6
V8 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
