The original sporttrac? :-)

Not that bad.......... but I do prefer mine!

...Do you have a link to more information on it???

...I forgot who on here it is, but someone made their offroad X to look just like it, but better...

Essentially , it's simply the ford explorer with the rear end made taller and longer to accommodate a bed. The back glass is straight off the suv and would open with gas shocks just like on the suv.

Sure here is.

I was thinking when I posted , "I wonder if it's actually good enough for at least one person to think it's real" lol. It's sadly a result of hours and hours in micosoft paint.

Hey draper, how difficult was it to remodel the rear into a pickup? Been thinking about doing that for a few years and yours is the first successful and fluent one I've seen by far.

This is my 93, time consuming, but not difficult. ranger cab fit well.

^^^^^ That's exactly what I've envisioned when building one in my mind!! :D Nice build!

Do you have a build thread anywhere dymondD? That's about the best chop top ive seen.

Elgatoprerunner has built, from what i think, the best looking one there is so far, i like DymondD's but, Elgatoprerunner has built a perfect rig and is all home made, it is the perfect example of the saying built not bought, he made the majority of his parts by hand if he could not find what he was looking for, you should check out his thread, and read all the way through it. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=310166 <---- this is his thread.

no build thread yet- work. need to put one together. the cab turned out very well. not in love with the bed sides. im thinking of grafting in some Ex quarters or going ranger glass. I'm leaning toward fiberglass.
