First time Explorer owner, long time Ford enthusiast

Hi everyone..

I've been a Ford owner for over 20 years and first learned how to drive in a '69 Bronco out in the Arizona desert. I have a 1998 F-150 which I plan on parking for a while so I can turn my attention to my latest Ford.

My girlfriend inherited a 1997 Explorer XLT recently from her late grandfather. We flew to Vegas not knowing what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to see the truck only had 29,x.. miles on it! Wow, what a great drive back to Phoenix!

I promptly negotiated a price and now I'm dying to start working on it! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
