Fix for squeaking center console cup holder

Guys my 98 Explorer's center console (cup holder section) squeaks horribly. Have any of you guys found a fix for this?

Go to a hardware store and find some 1/4 inch wide, self adhesive foam, pull the console out and apply from edge to edge. Very simple took 10 min at the most. Did it 2 months ago and no squeaks since. If you can't find any let me know I got a whole roll of it..
