Flasher Issue Help!

Regular flasher works by current draw heating up the circuit.

Since an LED draws little current the flasher thinks it's a bad bulb and flashes rapidly.

Special flasher or load resistors required at each LED point.
 






Well, 14 years later this post came in handy. Airjeff's instructions were great! It took me about 40 minutes. On my Explorer, I didn't have to remove the odb port plug. Maybe the location is different in my 2002. Thanks for sharing the steps!

 






I recently attempted to change the flasher relay without success (fat fingers), so I gave the job to my son...mission successful.
