Just bought my first Explorer about six months ago (my first ever Ford, as well). It is a 1995 Explorer Expedition 4X4 with about 180,000mi. It was a smokin' hot deal, and I couldn't pass it up--all it needed was new tires and an alternator. I have driven it with no problems, but the O/D light is flashing on the dash. I was hoping someone would have an idea what this was - and hopefully not an expensive fix...
Over-all I love this truck! It doesn't ride great (kinda like a Jeep), but it is better now that I have replaced the tires. It is comfortable and fun to drive. I plan on owning it for a long time.
