I installed the Flex-Lite electric fan today. Part number 175, slated for the Mustang 5.0. I had looked and that was the one recommended for the Ranger. None was listed for the 92 Explorer.
The install of the fan itself took about 15 minutes, including removing the stock one.
Installation of the wiring will occur when I wire up the dual batteries and the rest of the electrical system.
My truck has the 3 inch body lift. The stock shroud wasn't doing much good lowered 3 inches down the radiator. This one fits snug with a rubber gasket seal and pulls 2800 CFM at 13.9 amps.
The 200 amp alternator should keep it spinning.
It is dark. I may take pictures tomorrow.
