I finally tried to start the engine, after pulling the spark plugs and watching all of the water come out of the cylnders. It still would not start even though I was getting spark.. I squirted some starting fluid in the intake, and it would try to start but not fully. I think there must be water in the tank... Is that possible ? The truck was submerged maybe it got in from the gas cap ?????
Has anyone every pulled the tank to drain it.../?

I am assuming that you did indeed change the oil and filter? If not do so before attempting to crank.

Its a good assumption that you have water in the fuel tank also; drain it and add a dewatering agent to the new gas in tank to get any water in fuel line.

Then pray.....

Good luck

Yes, I changed the oil and filter first.. The topsider is getting its share of work these days.. I used it to suck out the power steering fluid and the water in the intake through the choke.. I was going to try and siphon out the gas to avoid taking out the gas tank...
