I've got the Sears 3 1/2 with jack stands too. Great deal - HEAVY BOX!!! Make sure you have someone to help you, it wasn't much fun moving that myself. Another thing to note is the jack stands have thin legs so they can dig into asphalt. They are pleanty sturdy, but I've had luck putting a small piece of wood under them to protect my driveway after my friend sunk them in
Here's a question. Has anyone seen a rubber piece that fits inside the cup on a jack? I remember seeing one once but I can't find it. It's meant to protect parts from chipping on the car and jack cup.
