Floor Shifter

I have made this post before but I cant find it anymore. I have a 97 explorer and I would like to convert the shifter to be on the column as it currently has a floor shifter. I believe this is possible can anyone give me any ideas as to how I might go about doing this.

I think that there are a few people on this board who would like the opposite. Perhaps you could swap shifters...

ah i see you have a UK explorer too they are great cars i learned to drive in this one and now i have it as my own.
...
well the only problem with swapping shifters is if you had a left hand drive explorer the floor shifter would be facing the wrong way....

I mention it because you want a column and they want a floor shifter. I agree the numbers and buttons would be on the wrong side. I don't Know if it is possible to turn the T bar around?
