Does anyone have experience with either?
I was thinking the catback with the 50 DeltaFlow, but I like the sound of the 40.
Is there a lot more interior resonance with the 40?

Thanks,

it depends on what you have room for, i have had both, the 50 series dual in dual out, and now i have a true dual system w/ and h pipe. if i could do it over again, money wise i would have stuck with the 50, but i wanted more. the 40 series dont add too much more. i have them mounted up/down as apposed to flat, and they stuck down like 2.5 in. now that i have 33s, my spare really doesnt do any good, so i am putting both flat up where my spare was. the 50 series fit nicely under the ex.

I've had both and there is quite a bit more interior resonance with the 40 series. I went with the 50 Delta flow because I do quite a bit of highway driving and the 50 gives me the best of both worlds with great tones at low speeds without the maddening drone at highway speeds.

I have a 40 and there is WAY too much interrior drone :(

I have the 40 series, but I think I would of liked the 50 series better.

Thanks for the info, 50 SUV it is!

I have the 40 and i love it. I wish it was louder actually. There is drone, but i don't mind at all.

I know you don't have the 5.0, but I have a Flowmaster 50 series "big block" muffler on mine (part of their catback kit). Great sound, loud with minimal drone. Recommended.
