ok i have 2 questions. i know i want flowmaster mufflers but just dont know which kind. i know i want 40 series but there are alot of choices. i have a 1997 xlt 2wd and i was wondering if i could fit 2.5"-3" tips under my truck with a shackle lift and AAl.

I've went with the non-delta flow 40 series in my vehicles if that helps at all, I've heard that it has a better tone than the delta. I can't complain the mustang sounds bad-ass, and the expedition sounds awesome as well.

I got dual 40 series flows on my 01 sport and they are 2 1/2 inch tips

coo i still got the spare tire on mine my friend has a 97 xlt and he wants to put duals and they told him he cant cause of the spare tire and other stuff.

are you a 4.0 or a 5.0 cause theres 2 huge threads with about any muffler and tons of tips on all kinds of trucks with lots of pictures and vids
