This issue may have been mentioned before, so forgive me for being a newbie.

I am prepairing to do a tranny fluid/filter change.
The problem is there are two kits available.
Tranny/W shallow pan
Tranny/W deep pan

How do I tell which I have?
I looked at the pan itself and it is about 2" in depth.

Thankx

Check your owners manual.

BTW, if you had plans to install a tranny shift kit, like the Baumann kit, I would do it at the same time.

I haven't purchased one yet, though I plan to, but I know a few folks who have used it on this very forum and are very happy with it. It's similar to the B&M kit except that you have 4 stages (settings) to choose from in various from mild shifts to hard, race track style shifts. It's not a computer add on but an actual part that you add to your tranny. Even if you're not into racing or anything like that, it's good for your tranny because it firms up your shifts, thereby causing less wear.

Now, I'm not entirely sure they make one for your specific tranny but you can look into the B&M shift kit, as well.
