I had the rear end of my 03 xlt 4x4 in the air today getting rid of the "clicking" from the e brakes (thank heavens that's gone) but i notced some fluid coming from the pig. It must be fresh because it idnt all gummed up.

Any body else had this problem? Any input would be great!

Thanks in advance

even though our ex's have 4 wheel disc brakes the e-brakes are set up like old school drum brakes. the clicking is caused from the shoes coming loose. When I pulled the rotors off the shoes literally fell out. I didnt even replace them because I never use the e-brake. I'm sure when I have the time I will replace them but at this point i dont think i need them so...

i take you have to remove the axel nut to get the rotor off , also i have some rear bearing play if i kick the outside of the tire i hear a klunk sound after kicking it, i did check the end links thet are tight. is that a sign of rear bearing replacement i have 180k on it 03 eddie 4.0

Not sure about the bearing issue, but all I had to do to remove the rotors was pull the wheel off, remove the calipers and slide the rotor off...
