It looks like it came from the hub is this a sign of hub failure? Could it be from the brakes? I haven't looked at it at all yet just noticed it this morning and thought I would get some opinions as to what it could be.

Dog P, Brake fluid would be on the inside of rim

Only one thing to do. Get on your knees and lick it!

What's it taste like?

I'd rather be p'd off than p'd on... ..

Nothing like that would eep out of the hub. Even if you did happen to use gear oil or something in the hub, it could only leak out between the hub and the rotor which would mean you would have no braking on that side and you likely wouldn't even see it on the wheel. Your hubs are automatic and are sealed on that end and there's only a light coating of grease inside, nothing at all will leak out.

From my eye, it definitely looks like dog pee. Pissed on a specific spot, just outside the hubcap ring and it ran down.

Don't take my word for it though, lick it :)

I've clearly never had my explorer peed on before *facepalm* after thinking about it there is no way it could really be anything else unless it was on the inside of the wheel

And I'm not gonna taste it!

What? Why not? It's just like tasting engine oil to see if it has gas in it.

Com'on! Where's your sense of adventure?

Taste it Taste it Taste it....
