Fog Lamp Housing Paint Peeling

Hello All,

I noticed today in detail that the silver paint inside the factory fog lamp housings are cracking / has disappeared. Is this a known problem? Also, what could have caused this? I found some replacement aftermarket ones on ebay for $70/pair that I am going to replace them with. I will then have to reinstall my strobe lights in the new housings but is not a difficult process.

Mine has a similar problem except on the outside. I bought the Ford Factory OEM Ironman Headlights and the outside of the headlight where the headlamp shines through is peeling like crazy.. Anyone else having problems like these?

Do you have HID's or Halogen bulbs in them?
