I was looking at getting some sort of aftermarket lighting, but then I thought about how I never have my fog lights on; wouldn't it be nice to have the brightness of a small light bar with a switch already built in? I'd like to just try a new bulb for the fog lights to start with since that seems like a clean solution to me, rather than routing wiring for light bars and stuff. It also helps considering one of my bulbs burnt out, so I need to replace it anyways. I found some by Philips, but haven't found anything else that's promising that will also fit a 2nd gens fog lights. I'd also like some really bright amber bulbs. Has anyone done this? It just doesn't seem like there are bulbs out there that are going to be as bright as an aftermarket light accessory. I'm also restricted in where they're pointed from what I can tell; maybe I could put some washers on the housing to try and angle it the way I want.

I care more about brightness than color temperature, so if there's some super bright LEDs or some other bulb type, but it's only in white, that is okay with me.
