I just did the TT on my 98, and my problem lies in, that I was lowered and I dont know where the stock hight was..so I cant measure from the ground to the fender to see if Im up 2 inches..so can all of you that has done the lift, can you measure yours for me and Ill compare it to mine..just take a tape measure and measure from the ground to the fender lip..like right in the middle..thanks

That technique would only work if the person measuring had the same size tire as you.

oh..thats a good point..well if you have 31s..im running the stock size tire right now..so Ill like subtract like a inch or so..wouldnt that work?

Is it AWD? I am thinking it is since you are worried about the height. You can always lift it and just listen for your CV's clicking to know you are too high. I raised mine about 1-3/4" and had to back it down just a bit because of the pass. side CV.

Good Luck. Kevin

How loud is the clicking? Yes its a AWD.

It is not loud, but w/ the windows down you can definitely tell it is clicking and from which wheel it is coming from. Just crawl under and lower it a turn and drive around the block to check it again.

Stock Height

I am not sure this will help but my '00 xls started at 32 7/8 and 32 5/8 in the front with P235/75R15 and went up about 1 7/8. See my post on torsion 101

hhhmmmmm.....

mine started out at 32 3/4 and now is at 34 3/4 or 35. No cliking though, however at 65 and higher it vibrates kinda bad and also if i take off full throttle unil i get to 35. I think it's just alignment though(or so i hope). I also belive this because after 300 miles you can already start seeing ware on the outside edge of the front tires

Look at the CV angles. At stock height, your CV's should be parallel to the ground, or straight.
