Hey guys, I recently put on my new Cragar Soft 8's and I'm extremely happy with them. Now I have the old stock wheels sittin around gathering dust. I'm looking to sell them but I have no idea what a reasonable asking price is. (they're pictured in my profile picture I believe) Has anyone sold theirs in the past and if so, what did they get for them? Or if anyone's interested let me know

Ebay has them for:
$65 for 1 wheel, free shipping
$60 + $32 shipping
$89 and $41 ship
up to $149 + $27 ship for a remanufactured wheel

All of this depends on the condition of the wheels (curb rash, other damage) and if these are the ones that I believe. You should also check the local craigslist and maybe post it there. Of course, being close to Fresno, Bakersfield, and not too far from the Bay or LA, you might find a buyer right here on the forum for the wheels. Post some photos. Do they include tires? Condition of the tires? Lug nuts (do the Cragers take a different lug nut)? Will you meet for a purchase (you could always find a buyer, put them on Ebay, take paypal, and offer local pickup) and then meet at an agreed location.

Good luck with them. Since you're an Elite Explorer, you can post them in the Parts For Sale forum.

I've sold a few of them. Typically you can get more out of them selling them 1 at a time on ebay as opposed to selling them as a set. I bought a set of four on ebay a few years ago even though I only wanted one to have a full sized spare on a matching wheel. I was able to sell the remaining three individually and came out breaking even (the one I kept for free) even after all the shipping charges.

Yep, those are them

Interesting, maybe I'll go that route. Thanks for the advice guys I really appreciate it!!!

all i got to say is craigslist! ive put new wheels on almost all of the cars i own, and every time ive found someone on craigslist that wanted to buy them. just get on there and see what they are going for in your area. im going to sell my old wheels that have tires with less than 3k miles on them for about 500 bucks on craigslist this week.

Anyone in the Bay area looking for these?

Found these tonight (7/26, almost 10pm Pacific) on Craigslist. No tires, and it looks like a manual hub switch (did they have those in '91?)

Just click on the ad man, $50 each. I sold my whole set of four for $70 total.
