The thing about leaf sprung SAS is that unless you have custom front springs it is going to be hard to get ride height equal front to rear. I am going to run the coils and long arms. I am going to be able to use some of the steering from the 44 i have. I think you would be alot happier with the coils plus a little added flew benefits.

By the way Jason it was you or Matt that referred me to www.tennesseeoffroad.com and i would liek to say thanks. I got my 60 44 combo for 350 and that was just what i was wanting. I will be ready for the summer tellico run.

The whole slapping the road and being loud thing has me dumbfounded. Looking at the tread pattern, they are practically identical to the Fun Countrys, but you make them sound like a total different tire. This is all kinda just hard to believe, but I really shouldn't worry about rubber now, I have a good 4 months estimated before rubber will be an issue.
Wait- which Mickey Thompson are you refering too? Baja Claws? Baja Belted? Belted HP?

Ah..... nvrmind.... i thought you were talking about the Baja Claws.

Ha, well that explains why I was so confused and refused to accept your hatred. Has anyone tried the Baja BELTEDS?

Heck, just buy a Sammy instead of putting all the $$ into your X :D ! It already comes with a solid axle and a manual xfer case.....Dirt cheap to modify and VERY good offroad.

I ran a set of Baja Belteds for a few years. Although they were 32x14.50 but still baja belteds. The thing with these tires are there very square and true in size. Tough as hell too. I put on a good 25K miles on mine and still had ALOT of tread left over.
