I know this is an old thread, but how have the clear bras been holding up?

Avoiding rock chips is difficult in the Chicagoland as everything is permanently under construction. I'm thinking of getting one.

I've had them on a few other cars and wouldn't do it again personally. Each one had it's problems. Edges start to get dirty and peel/lift over time making them noticeable. If you do get a rock hit it still leaves a mark, it did on mine anyway (so what's the point). I had the good 3M stuff installed by a very reputable installer so that wasn't the problem. I think over time I was just, meh, not worth it to me. I'm not doing it on mine. Save the $

That stick-on plastic film would be the last thing I would ever put on a new car.
