Front brakes judder

When I apply the brakes they work until the last yard of stopping then it seems as if the ABS kicks in were I can feel the judder through the pedal and in some ways its a bit scary.What can I do or what is it , cheers Mel

Welcome to this forum! Start by pulling off the front wheels to examine the condition of the pads, and rotors. Clean the ABS sensors with brake cleaner spray.
