Howdy EF friends!
While reading up on replacing the front timing chain tensioner on my 1999 Explorer Sport SOHC, I read about an Oil restrictor plug (which is supposed to look something like the size of a pencil) which goes in at the same time.
Tore everything down to this point:
but I'm not seeing where that plug would go - Is is somewhere in this picture and I'm just missing it? I'm a little worries to put in the new tensioner without the restrictor, as it was likely an add-on for a reason when putting in the newer design tensioner.
