My driver's side power window has let loose from the adhesive holding it to the window regulator. This happened once before and I reattached it using some general adhesive that I got from the auto parts store. Lasted a few months, now it's off again. Has anyone had this problem? And what are you suppose to use to mount the window to the regulator so that this doesn't keep happening. The auto parts store said they have "no idea".

does your window go up crooked? I think I might have the same problem.

No not really. The apoxy just let loose and now the window is totally detached from the window regulator. The auto parts store said they have no idea. The auto glass repair shops say nothing that they reattach with will hold. The ford dealer even said I have to replace the entire window because the "channels" that hold the glass to the regulator come pre attached with "special" adhesive from the factory. I'm going to try a different apoxy. What's the worst that could happen? I'm already looking at having to buy an entire window glass.

I used 5 minute epoxy and it let loose the first time, but I did it again and used more epoxy after it just started to get a little thicker, so it didn't run all over the place. Use lots! Good luck.

I was advised by body shop to use JB KWIK. I did and it seemed to work very well. Alot cheaper than buying a whole new window!
