Ok, I have this like metallic rubbing/grinding noise coming from the front end area that increases with the rpms. The sound seems to be coming from dead center inside the front of the engine. Not really sure though. The sound does follow the rotation of the belt. I know it can't be the idler pulley, because I know that sound and replaced it. It seems to be getting alittle louder each day. I tried using a tube to hear the sound but didn't really pinpoint it. But did notice more noise from the powersteering pump itself. Could this be the problem? Steering is all fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
