Well I was looking over my truck and I found that my Radius Arm is coming loose not the whole thing just the Nut on the end Of the Arm. The bushing was replaced maybe 5000 miles ago..WTF??? Isn't threadlocker supposed to "LOCK" the threads so that doesn't happen? Now that it's loose it's making a funny noise under braking almost sounds like a brake caliper rubbing straight on the rotor. The brakes are fine. Any thoughts on what it could be?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like the nut was not tight enough or the threads were not dry and clean when the threadlock was put on.

yup. just put the red gel on there and tighten her back down.

"red gel" I hope you don't mean red loctite!!!

Hey, I didn't get ANY gel in my RAB Kits (from Auto Zone).

Torque is 100 or 115 lbs. (if I remember right).........blue loctite........is removable w/ stronger arms. But, red is a whole other story.

Aloha, Mark

I got the nuts with the nylon 'self locking' in my kit.

You can hammer these tight, The nut bottoms out on the sleeve anyway

Fixed It

Hey thanks for all the input. I ended up making my brother in law fix it. He works in the service Dept. of my local Ford dealership. Everyonce in a while he comes in handy.
