That’s cheap 👍

I’d snag it, but I scored a pair of them on eBay for cheap, but unknown if they are actually what should be in the boxes 🙄

Solid find, thanks for the heads up!

That is cheap, around half Rock Auto's delivered price. Still 1 in stock, sold/shipped by Amazon.

Since it's amazon, can just return it if something seems off, like not having Timken stamped into the bearing cover.

Should have Timken stamped on the bearing?

^ Yes.

Now shows price as $61.82

Timken wheel bearings are very durable, nevertheless nothing is forever.
Here is one which last several years, before grease came out and get a little play.
What i was missing (at every new front wheel bearing) is the big thin o-ring thats going around
to prevent water getting in. I don't know anymore if these o-rings are Motorcraft parts,
never found them. Have had two of them, but they are history cause with every bearing change
they get damaged more and more.

^ I could be mistaken but do not recall having those o-rings on my '98 factory hubs when I replaced them.

Happy new year for all,

i am pretty shure that these o-rings were present, but not with new factory hubs.
Maybe it was only to 1997, i don't know. But looking closely there is a litte groove
around the bearing, i think the o-rings makes sense.
