Front spring installation.

I didn't take it apart myself, but I need to reassemble the front suspension on a 92. I have a Haynes manual that shows a method of jacking the lower a arm to compress the spring and install the pivot bolts. The ball joints are connected in this method. I can't raise the a arm high enough with this method before the frame starts lifting off my supports. Any comments on the best way to reinstall the front springs?

Welcome to this forum! So far the best method I've found is to insert a threaded rod with a hook on one side, and a plate on the other to compress the spring.
