I recently purchased a 2002 EB 4.6 I have replaced almost the entire front suspension. Have had this bounce in my gas pedal when I hit bumps, seems like right front. Shox were done last night, same problem continues. Tested the tie rod today doesn't seem loose. Unsure what it could be.

New stabilizers, ball joints, outer tie rods, wheel hubs/bearings, axles
Just not sure what else could be wrong... Someone please help

Could it simply be this vehicle feels different than the last vehicle you owned?

Can you try describing what the "bounce" is?

Idk, I have an 04 xlt & I don't feel it in that one like I do in the 02.
It kinda feels like when u hit a bump and the shox bounces when it's bad?! Like a few bounces then it goes away.... But I feel it in the gas pedal. Does that make sense? I drove the 04 down the street and didn't feel it.

I've experienced this as well. I'm thinking only when it's cold. Too me, it feels las if the nuts have come loose on the drivers side shock tower. Though they aren't.

So I figured it out finally, tonight at 1am while letting the Ex warm up after work. I decided to adjust the adjustable pedals downwards and then headed home.... Omg the bounce in the pedals went away. They had to have been to far up or something and they were feeling every little bump as if it was falling apart. Well hope this helps anyone else with the same issue. (only if u have adjustable pedals)
