Just curious, is the old one broke? or is it not going up or down, or like its off the tracks?

You'll have to pull the door cover, probably the speaker IIRC, and the window gasket around the door opening. Inspect the cable drive and bushings that attach the glass to the track. I would replace regulator assembly if you see any fraying of the drive cable, or cracking in the plastic where the cable attaches to the track. I personally would not want to have to pull one window then replace the regulator later on. Like within a few months of being in there.

I had the cable break on mine and the window would sit halfway down and ****ed forward. I could pull it up by hand and it would stay as long as road wasn't too rough. (Thanks to my Stepdad leaning in on it). It broke at the plastic connector at the very end of the cable. You'll see it once you get in there.

Around here, you get your broken windows replaced for free because every auto insurance plan needs to include that with no deductible. Is your insurance different where you live or is this truck not on the road yet?

Just curious.
