I have a 2005 stock explorer and the wipers now only run on high and the washer motor doesn't run. Any ideas before I take it off to an auto electrician? All other functions like rear wiper, high beam and indicators work.

1st thought would be the wiper switch on the column. After that the intermittent wiper and washer are 2 different systems. Intermittent module if there is one could be a culprit as well. Only because when you push to wash the wipers will make 3 swipes after releasing the wash button.

Thanks for the reply. The problem was the module on the wiper motor. I was lucky I got an old wiper motor (a bit noisy) from a mate and all work so proved it that way.
