I'll be curious to see how it does in my Explorer. I'll calculate the effects on fuel economy.
 






I don't see modern engines having the same issues as early models.
I doubt you'd see any improvement unless you have a high, high mileage engine.
Or, maybe if you have an extremely old tank of gas, or use cheap has that contained no additives.

The PCM's also seem to adjust funny. For example, i've tried some "experimental" fuel economy improvement additives before. While there was an initial increase, it's like the PCM makes an adjustment and suddenly your getting worse mileage.
 






I have been adding cheap outboard motor oil for years.
Never tried that, I dose the marvel mystery oil pretty regular though. Startron too.
