You guys need to watch Myth Busters on Discovery Channel.

They tried all the mythical uses for Coke and the only one they thought was worth a damn was for cleaning chrome with aluminum foil.

umm..yeah..i have 3 cup's of coffe in the moring also..LOL then it's on to coke/MT dew

I went on the Discovery web site looking for that episode but didn't find it.

Here's what I remember;

The meat did not disolve, it rotted
The tooth turned brown but that was all
Didn't do anything as a degreaser
Didn't loosen the rusted bolt
Worked the same on the battery as distilled water
It DID clean the soaking penny pretty well
and
coke and aluminum foil made the chrome shine better than chrome polish.

I don't remember if there were any other things they tried.

Here is the TV schedule for the next month. If you are really interested, check back every now and then, I'm sure they will re-run that episode.

Oh yeah, it cleaned blood off the garage floor at Mythbusters too.

So I guess it's good for 3 things cause it sure tastes like c__p. (to me ayway)

YUP! When my clunkers would quit on me I used to go to old Joe at Joes junk yard, change a tranny or motor for him and he would let me pick out one of the $25.00 "junk" 50's cars! I always brought a bottle of coke and a bottle of Turtle wax there! They were SMOKERS but still cleaned up pretty good. Little did we know that he was junking $30-$50,000 cars! LOL!

Of all the fluids found on my garage floor. I can honestly say, blood is one of the few that do not have stains on the floor. Doesn't anybody find this an odd spot to have blood? If I had blood on my garage floor, cleaning it wouldn't be a priority.
