has anybody actually swapped in a fuel cell...???? I have been searching for forever and cant find anything on it.... heres what I'm thinkin...

the 19 gallon RCI cell is 30L x 12W x 12H (above lower left)..... if I measure right it will fit right were the factory tank is and be plenty short enuff for the T&M doubler to fit.... the only problem I can see is with the filler neck... it's mounted on top.... I'm thinkin about using the flush mount aircraft type cap assembly (below)..... that would allow access if ever needed in the future..

then all I'd hafta do is cut a new hole at the top on the end and weld up a new inlet tube to attach the filler hose....

I "could" reuse the stock skid but a new one out of 3/16" would be easy to fab up.....

any thoughts...

I always wanted to put on in the spare tire location, or in the rear cargo area.

Whatever floats your boat I guess, a fuel cell is a great option to free up space.

well.. I'm still looking around... think Ima do the f-150 aux. tank and relocate the shocks....
